Welcome Tylan Shelton, New Renewable Energy Project Developer at Amshore

Amshore welcomes Tylan Shelton, the newest Project Developer at Amshore Renewable Energy. Tylan has been in the wind industry since 2006 and has been involved with the construction, development, repower and or asset management of more than 3 gigawatts of renewable energy projects. 

“Bringing an established renewable energy industry veteran like Tylan onboard helps Amshore accelerate development of renewable energy projects for our customers,” said Aaron Young, Vice President, Development at Amshore Renewable Energy. 

Tylan Shelton is a Project Developer at Amshore Renewable Energy. He is responsible for the full range of activities in developing commercial-scale wind and solar projects throughout the United States. Tylan has the overall responsibility for managing delivery of projects as well as assisting senior leadership with project financing and transactions. 

He was previously the owner and President of Big Sky Wind Energy Inc.

Tylan attended the School of Architecture at the University of New Mexico and the Wind Energy program at Amarillo College. He later sat on the Advisory Board for the AC Wind Energy program and was on the Board of Directors of the Class 4 Winds Trade Organization. Tylan has been a speaker or panelist at dozens of landowner meetings, commissioner hearings, school board meetings, college campuses and community forums.

Amshore Renewable Energy was established in 2002. For 20 years, Amshore has originated and developed solar and wind energy facilities generating 2.9 gigawatts of power covering over a half a million acres.
