Amshore Unveils New Solar and Battery Storage Project in Texas

Amshore® Renewable Energy today announced a new Texas solar and battery project available to businesses and investors looking to acquire for their renewable energy portfolios.

For the new Route 66 Solar + Battery Project, Amshore secured site control of approximately 1,500 usable acres, providing ample space for development while minimizing environmental impact. The community surrounding the project site is highly motivated and ready to collaborate on renewable energy initiatives.

The project offers the potential for dual interconnection in ERCOT and/or SPP markets. ATC study results show a total capacity ranging from 150 to 200 megawatts on each line. The solar resource potential of the region averages 5.25-5.50 kWh/m2/day. Studies and area knowledge show the site to have no species of concern or floodplain issues.

“Amshore Renewable Energy’s Route 66 project in Texas is a testament to our unwavering commitment to find, evaluate and create projects that meet the growing demand for clean energy and contribute to reducing CO2 emissions,” said Amshore Renewable Energy Vice President of Development Tylan Shelton. “We’ve identified the site, analyzed the studies and secured the land, and Route 66 is primed to become the next great solar and battery project.”
