A native of Corpus Christi, Colin Nye started working part time for American Shoreline during his high school summers. Colin would go on to graduate from Richard King High School in 2004 and began his collegiate career at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.

In 2006 Colin enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Infantry and was deployed to Iraq in 2007. Upon completing his mission in 2008 he returned to work and school.

Currently Colin is pursuing a career in Petroleum Engineering while continuing his service in the Marine Corps Reserve and functions as Geotechnician, Field Operations Manager, and Draftsmen for American Shoreline.

In his spare time Colin enjoys the active, outdoor lifestyle and lists fishing, hunting, surfing, camping, offroading, and traveling as his personal passions.
