Landman
A native of South Texas, born and raised right here in Corpus Christi, Clay grew up hunting on and around the same lands where he now helps develop prospects, and coming from a family background of attorneys and geologists it seems fitting that he ended up doing land and legal work in the oil and gas industry.
Clay came to American Shoreline after 5 years of working as an independent field landman for numerous operators from small independents to large publicly traded companies. His field work has taken him from South Texas to far West Texas, and Louisiana where he researched some of the Hainesville shale acreage. His experiences as a field landman have taught him the intricacies of South Texas title; as well as, given him a firm background in lease negotiations.
Clay graduated from The University of Texas in 2004 with a degree in Government and Business. He continues to be an avid University of Texas sports fan, and supporter of all things Texas. In his spare time Clay enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.
